In my writing experiences last semester I learned that my weakness is not content, but my grammar. Trying to remember when and where to but the commas, quotation marks, and other punctuation. In college writing I have realized that the language that I use in my papers must be college level. I use this website called thefreedictionary.com to help me find synonyms for words that maybe to childish or if I do not want to repeat the same word over again. For example, the statement “bad children”, I would change it to “disobedient children”. Though writing is not my favorite activity, it comes easier to me then, say math. My favorite style of writing is creative writing, because I can allow my imagination to run wild. I am not restricted to just facts and data, like in research paper. The challenging part of writing for me is expressing my ideals and point of views on a college level. Also I have to remember my spelling and grammar, but thankfully I have spell check and Google. Most of my papers that I did last semester, my professors did understand and respond highly on my papers.
